Congratulations to all students for great performance!

1st Piano Carnival

The second Piano Carnival went very well on December 6th 2014. It was wonderful to hear great performance from talented students. Thank you very much for giving a Master Class and a fantastic concert, Dr. Chih-Long Hu. I would like to thank your participation and help. Without you, none of these would be possible. Special thanks to our sponsors: Valley Keyboards, Walmart, Subway, Chick-fil-A, and Echo Hotel and Conference Center!

This organization was founded by the director Dr. Yu-Chi Tai and established for the purpose of promoting piano music and helping students to become successful musicians and educators. The Association invite internationally renowned pianists to University of Texas Rio Grande Valley and give master classes and concerts to help students become better musicians. People in the community are also invited to perform with fantastic facilities at UTRGV. This benefits our community to have the opportunities of listening to world-class concerts and connect with international artists. Our goal is to create an international learning academy for students in the Rio Grande Valley. It will be wonderful to have your sponsorship and support the organization and students. For future events, please visit our facebook page:

The Association hosted a piano workshop, inviting guest pianist Dr. Dahlia Guerra to discuss the relation between Addinsell's Warsaw Concerto and movie "Dangerous Moonlight". It helped students understand the background, history and characters of the concerto before the concert.

The organization also participated in the events in the HESTRC Community Day to fundraise for students.

Our first Piano Carnival on May 3rd 2014 invited Dr. Morley Grossman as a guest artist. We have a lot of fun! All students from UTPA, Science Academy of South Texas, Sanctuary Christian Academy, Robert Vela high School and Regoinal Bible institute, played brilliantly. Thank you for all the piano teachers, Dr. Morley Grossman, David Hoyte, Backy Jo, Dr. Yu-Chi Tai.
